  • General purpose solid core, hard-facing electrode that offers good balance of impact and abrasion resistance.
  • Recommended for both metal-to-metal and metal-to-earth applications.
  • May be applied to carbon and low-alloy steels.
  • May be forged at red heat, but is not easily machinable.
  • 52-58 HRC (2 layers max)

TUBULAR HARD SURFACE
  • ALL-POSITION tubular electrode that is recommended were sound deposits with low coefficient of friction are desired.
  • Bonds well with carbon, low-alloy and manganese steels and polishes to a mirror finish.
  • Multiple layer deposits are sound and can be heat treated.
  • Maintains versatile balance of abrasion wear resistance and impact strength.

TASSCO XT WIRE
  • Type: Dual shield welding wire
  • Enables spray transfer with CO2 or 7/25 (Argon/CO2) shielding gas
  • Allows the use of larger wires (up to 1/16” for faster production
  • Nickel alloying improves tensile strength, elongation, and reduces under bread cracking on low-grade AR plates

CRACK FREE HARD SURFACE
  • Gas shielded (75 Argon/25 CO2), flux cored, ALL-POSITION, general purpose, hardfacing wire.
  • Offers good balance of impact and abrasion resistance.
  • Can be used in both metal-to-metal and metal-to-earth applications.
  • maintain smooth, semi spray transfer and can be applied to carbon, low alloy and manganese steels, without cracking.
  • 57-62 HRC (2 layers)

CHROME FREE HARD SURFACE
  • Non-chromium heart facing welding wire which result in a deposit that has wire resistance and hardness equal to or greater than conventional carbide deposits.
  • Specifically formulated to eliminate chromium in the wire and still provide outstanding wear resistance.
  • Provide wear-resistant overlay for applications were hexavalent chromium, and welding fumes cannot be reduced work practice controls.
  • The emission of hexavalent chromium during welding is reduced - or completely eliminated - depending on the chromium content of the base or pre-existing weld deposit.
  • 67-71 HRC (2 layers max)

  • Commonly used for welding stainless steel to mild steel.
  • Exhibits a "spray-like" arc transfer.

COMP-C
  • Deposits an alloy with a high density of primary chromium carbides in an iron matrix.
  • Abrasion resistance is high, with moderate impact resistance.
  • Deposits develop a tight cross-checking pattern for stress relief.
  • Designed for metal-to-eary wear resistance: grinding/pulverizing rolls and table segments, wear plates, clad pipe, dredge pump shells and related components, and hammers.
  • Most economical choice for high-wear applications.
  • May be utilized in hot wear applications up to 900º F.
  • May NOT be machined or forged.
  • 56-64 HRC (2 layers max)
